With the opening of the entries in few weeks’ time, the promotion of the third edition

of AronaMen 112.9 Triathlon has started.

Athletes will have to swim 1.9 km in the Lake Maggiore, ride 90 km over the spectacular bike course and run lakeside all over the amazing town of Arona.

There will be some news in the 2013 edition. The most important ones concern the bike check-in and the penalty box.

Athletes will be allowed to do the bike check-in not only on Saturday afternoon as in the previous editions, but also on Saturday morning before the race start. The race bag pick-up will be exclusively on Friday and Saturday.

Over the first 36 km of the bike course the caution of penalty box will be introduced. Further information about it can be found on the Rules 2013, which can be consulted online on the website www.aronamen.it.

AronaMen Triathlon is supported by Regione Piemonte, Provincia VCO and Novara, Comune  di Arona,  Comuni di Stresa, Baveno, Lesa, Miasino, Meina, Distretto Turistico dei Laghi, Ente Fiera del Lago Maggiore, Pro Loco di Arona, Radio DeeJay e Tuttosport. The compagnie that support the event are Mizuno, Selle San Marco, Orsobianco Dolciaria, Acqua Lurisia, Penta Power, Aqua Sphere, Nicetto Ponteggi, Caseificio Valle Stura, Ford Azzurra e Formaggi Guffanti; the safity service in the Transition Area is entrusted to C.I.V.I.S.
