Entries for the second edition of AronaMen 112.9 Triathlon open on Monday 2nd January 2012. Athletes must complete 1.9km swim in the lake Maggiore, 90km bike and 21 km run lakeside. Race will be open to individuals and relay teams and the organizers are confident that next year’s event will be as successful and rich as the previous one.

The prize money will be 10,000 $ U.S., with change euro-dollar on the date of January 2^nd, 2012. The prize money will be distributed according to new Fitri’s rules and athletes will be awarded according to the overall results. From the last athlete awarded with the money on, the organizers will award the best athletes for each age group category with product prizes. Relay teams will be given product prizes.

The 2012 edition will be held in Arona, on the shores of Lake Maggiore, on Sunday 29 July. The magnificent scenery of one of the most beautiful location in Italy can be also the occasion to spend a lovely weekend. To favour the athletes, the organizers have signed special agreements with the hotels placed near the transition area, which means that every single spot of the race is easily reachable on foot from the hotels.

This year again, the event will be supported by Regione Piemonte, Provincia di Novara, Provincia del Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, Comune di Arona, Comune di Stresa, Pro-Loco di Arona  and sponsored by Mizuno, Guffanti Formaggi, Aqua Sphere, Ford Azzurra, PentaPower, Acqua Lurisia, Caseificio Valle Stura,  Icad Sistemi and Orso Bianco Dolciaria.
